In Macot la Plagne Tarentaise, in the heart of the French Alps, Marie-Hélène and Sylvain are glad to welcome you to their home all year round. In their charming and cosy chalet “Malezan” you will find 2 bedrooms (sleeping 2 and 4 people respectively) as well as a lodge (sleeping up to 6 people). After a good night of sleep, you will be invited to a delightful and generous breakfast based on home-made
and artisanal products.

In their chalet, Marie-Hélène and Sylvain offer their guests 2 comfortable and nicely decorated
bedrooms and 1 cosy lodge. All of them are equipped with:

- A main bedroom with a double bed (160×200 cm)

The lodge
- A large living-room (42 square meters) with an open and fully-furnished kitchen as well as a
sofa bed for 2 people - A bedroom with 2 twin beds and 2 bunk beds (80×190 cm)

In addition to the comfort of your accommodation, you will also have access to the following

Location & Activities
The house is located in the Tarentaise valley on the edge of the peaceful village of Macot (800 metres above sea level).
Whenever you come, the region offers you plenty of activities.
During summer, take a bicycle or motorcycle tour directly from the house, or simply go for a drive to explore the beautiful surroundings. The most popular destinations include :
- Cormet de Roselend to access the Beaufortain valley
- the Iseran Pass to join the Maurienne valley
- or even the Petit Saint Bernard Pass to go to Italy.
You can also go for a hike since the house is only 10km from the Vanoise National Park and close to great hiking itineraries, such as the famous GR5.
The village also boasts an outdoor recreational park where you will find a playground, a small lake, an outdoor adventure course, as well as some picnic and BBQ facilities. This can be accessed by car or by following the cycle path along the river where you will also be able to fish or experience rafting or kayaking !
The cultural heritage is undoubtedly another interesting aspect of the area: to learn more, why not discovering the Baroque paths ?!
During winter, you can reach most of the famous ski resorts of the French Alps : the closest ones are La Plagne & Les Arcs, but also Tignes, Val d’Isère, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, Méribel, Courchevel, Pralognan, Valmorel…
If you are fond of skiing or snowboarding you will have fun for sure! However, there are many other activities to enjoy or discover such as bobsleighing, snowmobile riding, dog sledding, snowshoe hiking or simply relaxing at a spa.
